If you are Using Zoom for the First Time

  • Download Desktop Client: Windows OS or MacOS - Admin rights are required on the PC/Mac
  • Download Mobile Client: Download for iOS or Android for easy meeting connections while on the go

Steps to Joining a Meeting

Joining from Desktop or Mobile via URL

  1. Click on the URL provided by the meeting host
  2. Enter the meeting password (if prompted)
  3. Connect to Computer/Device audio and/or video

Joining from Desktop or Mobile via the Application

  1. Open the desktop/mobile application
  2. Click on Join
  3. Enter the Meeting ID
  4. Enter the meeting password (if prompted)
  5. Connect to Computer/Device audio and/or video

Steps to Hosting a Meeting

Schedule from Desktop Application

  1. Click Schedule icon
  2. Select your meeting settings
  3. Click on the arrow for Advanced settings, and select your preferred options
  4. Click on Schedule to finish creating the meeting

** If you chose Outlook for calendar, you can now share the email invite using Outlook application
